On June 26, 2017, Wang Chengzhi, PhD, at the Institute of International Relations and Center for Think Tank Studies, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, held a lecture on the development of think tanks in the UK. 

Wang gave an introduction of several leading think tanks in London, elaborating on their organizational structure, performance evaluation system, operational mode and functions. He also explained the differences between Chinese and British think tanks, suggesting ways for Chinese research organizations to gain a competitive edge in the future.
