Seminar: Trump’s counter-terrorism policy adjustments and implications for China

On January 12, 2017, the SIAS hosted a seminar on US President-elect Donald Trump’s counter-terrorism policy adjustments and the possible implications for China. Experts from Fudan University, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and Shanghai Counter-Terrorism Research Center joined the SIAS research staff in this meeting. The discussion focused on the status quo of counter-terrorism in China, the Middle East, South Asia and Central Asia. The attendees also predicted changes the Trump administration might make in its effort to fight terrorism.
