Dr Yin from University of Exeter joins SIAS salon on terrorism and radical ideologies

On December 29, 2016, Yin Zhiguang, PhD, lecturer at the University of Exeter, joined the SIAS research staff in a salon on terrorism and radical ideologies.
Dr Yin analyzed the social problems in the Middle East, sharing his experience as a teaching professional and traveler in the region. He underlined the ideological drives behind the counter-terrorism efforts of the world’s great powers and offered his reflection on globliaztion.
In addition, Dr Yin discussed the Syria Crisis, NGOs in the Middle East, European populism, and China’s call for greater discourse in international politics.
